Please, make yourself at home

Hello, and welcome to my writer’s blog. You’ve stumbled here somehow—maybe through an interdimensional portal or by jacking into the Matrix, but you’re here now, and that’s the important thing. I’ll try to keep you around, and do feel free to get in touch by email or leave comments around the site until your fingers fall off.

Hopefully they won’t. I’m pretty fond of comments, and no fingers mean no more comments.

So you might be wondering about me, this mysterious girl behind the curtain. At my “About” page and in the sidebar, you can learn about what I like to do and what I plan to do: first and foremost, publish a novel. I’ve written the damn thing; now I just have to finish editing it and find an agent. (Note: If you’re an agent, call me, baby.)

As you can probably tell, I’m leaving the tone of this blog completely informal. I’ll be posting on an irregular basis, but expect to see at least one new entry a week—on anything from books I’ve read and my own writing progress to happenings in the literary world.

If you’re a reader and/or writer, nice to meet you. Let’s talk. Share your own tips and recommendations.

If you’re a fellow blogger and want to swap links, I’d be more than happy to oblige.

If you know me from around the web, please do me a kindness and spread the word about my new blog on Twitter, Facebook, Tumblr—pick your preference.

Be seeing you.

  1. So nice to meet you! I’m a reader and writer as well, and I’m currently working on my first book as well. I just started writing it at the end of January, so I’m not that far along, but it’s been quite a journey so far. I can’t wait to read more posts from you. :)

    1. Thank you very much! I’m happy you found the blog and hope to see you around. That’s wonderful news! I wish you all the best with your book. It’s definitely not easy, but just keep at it and write, rewrite, and polish until it’s ready to go! Keep me updated on your progress from time to time, if you remember. I’d love to read it when it’s finished! Gotta support my fellow writers and bloggers.
