Awesome book cover Friday: The Great Oak

This week’s cool cover pick is an out-of-print children’s book published in 1970 called The Great Oak. The book, by Elizabeth and Gerald Rose (illustrator), was released by Faber Books. Here’s a brief summary from the National Library of Australia (the book was produced in London):

For over a thousand years the great oak tree weathered the seasons and changes and its life seems over when it is struck by lighting, but a squirrel shows how life may continue.
