My apartment is even more crowded now

Meet the newest addition to the family. He’s far cuter than any of us.

new kitty

My boyfriend and I haven’t thought of a name yet, but we’re bringing him home this Sunday on my birthday. We’re already “kitty-proofing” our ridiculously tiny apartment, which is not going to contain this rascal, I’m sure.

Anyway, quick life update: I wrote about a fun and thought-provoking game called Gunpoint for Kill Screen. And I’m crossing my fingers for some new writing gigs. Hopefully, I’ll have more to share on that soon.

  1. He reminds me of one of my cats of yesteryear: Pumpkin. It was 1992, we were living in a small apartment. Pumpkin loved being outside and he would dash out the door as if he were trying to escape from prison. I would hear yowling, follow the sound, and Pumpkin would be sitting in the middle of the next walkway trying to figure out how to find home. The poor little guy could get lost sitting in front of the door!

    1. That’s such a cute name! And a funny story. My cats at my parents’ house are just as silly and crazy. :) I miss them! This place is a little small, and it’s a big change in environment, so I don’t want to uproot them. I’m happy we finally decided to adopt — and this gives the cats someone new to play with (or growl at) during the holidays!

Tell me something!
